Explanation
Replaces the particle は, が, or を to state that something 'also' has the same property or performs the same action as what has been mentioned before.
Examples
私も学生です。
Watashi mo gakusei desu.
I am also a student.
りんごを買いました。みかんも買いました。
Ringo o kaimashita. Mikan mo kaimashita.
I bought an apple. I also bought an orange.
