Explanation
Used to indicate that an action is performed before another action or event occurs.
Examples
寝る前に、本を読みます。
Neru mae ni, hon o yomimasu.
Before going to sleep, I read a book.
食事の前に、手を洗います。
Shokuji no mae ni, te o araimasu.
Before eating, I wash my hands.
