Explanation
Indicates the starting point (kara) and ending point (made) of time or geographical distance.
Examples
会議は９時から５時までです。
Kaigi wa kuji kara goji made desu.
The meeting is from 9 o'clock to 5 o'clock.
家から学校まで歩きます。
Ie kara gakkou made arukimasu.
I walk from home to school.
